It doesn't matter what I am doing, I always keep my bedroom door locked. Even while I sleep my door is locked. I am an adult and I want privacy.
Our apartment front door is always locked and my girlfriend often locks it after I come home.
In the evenings she puts down the living room rolling window shutters. She worries of a potential break in, even if we live in a nice neighborhood in Germany.
But she does not lock the bedroom door, as the bathroom is not connected to the bedroom and I often get up for water in the night.
She also pushes the lock button in the car immediately after she gets in... even if my cars have auto-lock. It's funny.
I'm like this.
I also have one of those alarms on my front and back door, which make a beep sound everytime they are opened. It helps me sleep at night.
I too am that way, I don't unlock my door and I'm not very sociable when someone does come in.
Lol I don't even lock my front door
My neighbor growing up didnt even have locks on his doors you didnt even turn the knob you just pushed it open. Then he had windows that didn't lock and the dude would go around robbing drugs dealers everyone knew where he lived. Idk how he didnt get kilt
It depends where you live, there are actually communities where everyone knows their neighbors very well, and may be remote enough to not worry much about outsiders. Must be nice. I’ve forgotten to lock my front door or even to close my whole garage door a lot of times and luckily nothing bad happened since the area is decent people. Still I wouldn’t feel safe to do it intentionally
I've never felt safe not locking doors.
Im also this way. My wife lock the door and put a door stopper under the handle when I work nights
If you are an adult, who do you live with that you need to lock your door for privacy?
How is this NOT normal?
So they nuked your other profile already? What was up with those links you posted anyway?
