I get a nostalgic rush for that era too, especially since so much has happened in my life since then and it's so weird to feel temporarily transported back to that time again!
The funny thing was that I absolutely hated that music when it was new, but find that much of it is actually quite a bit better than what is currently out, and now I think some of it is kind of cool.
Maybe so! I think I tend to dislike when things are overplayed or just overdone in general, so might have a different perspective on some of the things I dislike now several years from now.
I am still eternally sick of some of the '90s and early to mid 2000's music I had to hear in the family car on repeat growing up, though! 🤣
