Because the story sits better knowing it is from a female perspective. I thought there that we may have had a potential Icarus situation on our hands. Maybe flying isn't all it's cracked up to be. Anyway I prescribe a beginners course in handgliding. Might help.

Yes with clipped wings. So no flying. Just head in the air.
