get legal advice as the first step protect assets, work out the finances so you can survive with the kids, plan what you want/need to do workwise or traning, research these things. keep your plans to yourself and start the ball rolling. do not involve him in your plans or you might be railroaded, you are lucky in a way you have had to get by without him so yr half way there , goodluck
