It's funny, men tend to complain about how divorces are unfair for the man because he has to give half his revenue for his ex wife, but when the roles are reversed people seem to be more split. I think it's the same man or a woman. It's Adele's money, just because she fucked this dude doesn't mean she owes him shit.
I agree that the double standard is ridiculous. I actually sit on the opposite side to you - I think when you get married you become a team, helping and
supporting each other to achieve more, and as such share finances, and the only fair thing to do at the end of the marriage is an even split of all of the wealth and assets. But it's exactly the same if you're male or female - everything gets split. No favouring the woman financially - the law should be fair.
Divorce settlement laws have unquestionably favored women more so far, and statistics proves that, cases of women having to pay is extremely rare, but I rarely ever see anyone complain when its a man, but here it is evident that people who normally stay silent over the matter are just speaking up because its its case of the woman having to pay. Regardless, men or women your hard earned money should only belong to you and divorce settlement thing is pathetic to begin with, and its fact so far men had higher income mostly and many women were marrying them to divorce them and take all their money, now roles are being reversed that women are having higher pay, and now men have started to be benefited by divorce settlement issues. And all those hypocrites who stayed silent when men were having to pay are now speaking up because women are having to pay, the word karma applies..
