    A real man or any man can hit a woman for self protection. But then the woman will call the police and she will say "He abused me!" Or "He tried
    to kill me!" Or any reason she can come up with. The police will believe her and take you away and jail time.

      Sad to say I've seen this happen. He went to jail and took 6 months to have a trial. In the mean time he lost his job, his home, his car and his kids. He got out of jail homeless, jobless and owing child support. And he actually never even hit her...I saw the whole thing.
