I agree. You can prevent anyone from hitting you without hitting them back. Same applies to men that hit you. Do you also treat men with this standard?
But you said to OP that when you become a man you find other means to responding to violence without also being violent, and there are nearly always other means to avoid engaging in mutual violence, even with those that are the same strength or stronger.
That's fine, can't judge you for your own course of action or lack there of in any given situation in life but do you expect and possibly even enforce others to do the same?
