Is it normal that a guy knows/wants to know how to braid a girl's hair?

I'm a guy and recently I convinced a few of my female friends to teach me how to braid their hair. I can do it, just not really good, and I've always kinda wanted to know how exactly to do it. is it normal that I'm a male who wanted to learn how to braid hair and now knows how to actually do it?

I don't know if its normal, but I'm actually curious to know how to do it to. I see a lot of girls doing it to each other and I'm curious to know what the big deal is. Although I never actually asked anyone to braid there hair, mostly cause I'm lazy and don't want to come off as a creep. Anyways, I think its cool that you know how, but I don't know if this is normal.

I am a girl and it is normal for a guy that knows/wants to braid hair. It just proves that you are so manly that you can braid with out doubting yourself

I'm a girl, and my mom left when I was very little. Before me or my sister knew how to do our own hair.

We were raised by our dad.

Our dad used to braid our hair for us before we went to bed so our hair would be pretty at school tomorrow.

I think that was very nice of him.

I became dependent on it and never learned how to braid my own hair properly! I do it sometimes but it never looks right. I need my Dad to teach my husband how to braid my hair for me!

So I think it is an excellent skill for a man to know, whether it's for his wife or his daughters. Some of us just can't coordinate back there so well.
