Is it normal society uses selfish wrong?

Self means to distinguish one from another. While ish means to an extent.

Anything to an extent tends to be in moderation.

Moderation is healthy.

And anything healthy is good.

Selfish is a good word.

I don’t know why manipulators like to use that word right before saying things like “You ONLY think about yourself”. Which is practically impossible unless someone has zero empathy such as a narcissist. I don’t think there’s as nearly as much of Baby Hitlers out there as some people would like others to think.

Is It Normal?

  • I think that most everyone thinks of themselves first. Even helping people, gives someone a better image.

    • Thinking of yourself first isn't the same as putting yourself first.

  • Yeah, but people people also have a tendency to confuse, and use jealousy, and envy interchangeably.

  • No one has to ask me, either. Is It Normal is a public forum. Anyone can say anything they want (as long as it doesn't break the terms of service or community guidelines).

  • “When I use a word,” Humpty Dumpty said, in rather a scornful tone, “it means just what I choose it to mean—neither more nor less.”

“The question is,” said Alice, “whether you can make words mean so many different things.”

“The question is,” said Humpty Dumpty, “which is to be master—that's all.”
