Is it normal pimples on private area?

I'm 18 and have noticed a few lumps/pimples on the outer area of my vagina. There usually very small, however occasionally I've found ones as big as a 5 cent coin.

They were irritating me so I decided to pop one, yellow stuff came out and once I cleaned it off blood began to ooze out. I've never had sex before and I'm too embarrassed to go to a doctor about this, just wondering if its normal or should I be concerned?

    Perfectly normal. You can get pimples anywhere.

      definitely ingrown hair, if not then it might be urine that has dripped down. Sounds gross I know but WebMD my friends

    I have the same problem, do you notice they get bigger when you're on your period? I read that your hormones can trigger them to flare up. I've never had one as big as a nickel though.

    Don't freak out, it's ingrown hair. It's okay to go to the doctor, they're professionals.

    You've never had sex, or never had sex before you noticed this problem? IF it's the latter, you may have caught an STD and it won't go away by itself, so get yourself to a doctor ASAP.

    IF you've never had sex, see a doctor anyway
