Is it normal people argue over the internet?

I tend to disagree as I view it as normal for people to disagree. IRL and on the internet. What I don't like is when people start calling names and being purposedly mean. I try not to become a bitch online. I get into heated arguments more often in real life.

I used to think of everyone online as fairly normal people so i'd be a little disturbed by some of their reactions, thinking I really hurt someone's feelings. but these days you can tell they're basically all the social rejects who couldn't make it in real life for various reasons (obviously myself included, but becoming less so). A lot of them are emotionally stunted due to some past abuse & never matured past the stage of a child throwing a temper tantrum. They just don't get their ass beat down for it here like they would in reality.

Some people are so objectionable it's hard not to get pissed off at their stupidity.

Why come to a website and not be yourself, by denying your are irritated by some annoying cunt or shit eating, pant pooing loser in diapers. If you find the latter "funny" you are either 10 years old or never mentally matured past that age.

The same happens here. People will never say shit to other people irl because they know they will get their ass handed to them. It is easy to be a six foot two street fighting god behind the confines of your keyboard.

Yeah it is normal.
What is worse though, and more dangerous is when people get shitty behind the wheel.

I googled "why do people tail gate" the other day and came across some page on a forum where it had the worst bickering ever on the web. Threats, arguing, insults... It was Jerry Springer material. Road rage mixed with the web. Bad combo.
