Is it normal pain in ear outdoors

I was sick for the entire month of April with the flu. I had no ear pain but both my ears felt full/blocked which was most likely due to my sinuses being swollen.
Now I am well but noticed everytime I go outside and its cold and windy my left ear hurts a lot. I guess ears are a bit sensitive to strong wind and cold but my right ear doesnt hurt. Today I also got stabbing sensations in my left temple at the same time then some mild visual disturbance later so maybe its just a weird migraine sign (I get migraine attacks sometimes) but I dont think so. I dont know if I should go to the doctor again and this time have my ears looked in except if its an ear infection the ear should hurt all the time not just when I am outdoors. Its not just the inside of my ear but for like an hour after i've gotten back inside the tip of my ear hurts as well as the back of my head on the left side. Maybe its common for ears to hurt in the cold though and my left one is just a bit more sensitive... I always wear a beanie in cold weater so I honestly dont know and only stopped wearing one now because its supposed to be hot since its spring but today it even snowed a little sigh

It sounds like swimmers ear, it is the most painful thing ever. See a doctor.

Air pressure maybe? Do you go up or down in altitude outside? Do your ears pop or ring?
