Is it normal one of my cats prefers toilet water?

I have 2 cats, they are brothers, and one prefers to drink from the toilet while the other wouldn't do that unless he was dying of thirst.

Is It Normal?

    If you want him to stop, just keep the lid down and make sure there's plenty of clean water available - hardly rocket science

      I don't care if he does it and he really seems to enjoy it since he drinks from there so much so I'm not going to stop him. My toilet is kept very clean and chemical-free. I was just asking if it was normal for a cat to drink from the toilet by choice. Yes, I always have clean water provided for them.

        Aren't you worried he might fall in? It has been known to happen with small dogs doing this
