It is easy to find stupid old people. They are the ones that compare young people to themselves. Smarter old people compare young people to what they were like long ago at the same age.
When you find old people like me that time shift our comparisons, you will see that certain patterns emerge. Firstly, smarter old people will note that while young people of today are a bit worse at reading and math, they are far superior at abstract reasoning. Secondly, they will admit that long ago, they were unrealistically idealistic. Comparatively, young people of today have an unrealistic sense of entitlement.
Also know that some old guys like me can't get it up. It's a pathetic condition. Getting old sucks.
People of today can't read because we have a bunch of immigrants who we are not making learn English. Schools have also become worse as in they chastise any child who learns "Above schedule". It's not really children's fault, we are pushing them to be stupid. "No! You are not supposed to have the complex reasoning of an adult at 5, go be happy and stupid like a normal 5-year-old". The already dumb ones we dump in classes where they learn 3 grades below level, the average ones we keep at a slow pace, and the smart ones we punish. So it's no wonder students are uneducated. America today HATES EDUCATION! It absolutely despises it. The public school system has been deteriorating for awhile now.
Yes. Unless you live in a state that is not burdened with foreign language immigrants like Connecticut, South Dakota, Minnesota, or Alaska. These states blow the doors off the National Fourth Grade Achievement test.
