If sexual abuse of children by clergy is caused by celibacy, how come it happens in ALL religions, including those where celibacy isn't a requirement? It's been happening in polygamous mormon sects where the men have plenty of opportunities to have sex with adult women.

Of course they should be "allowed to do it" or to rephrase, the catholic church should get itself into the 21st century and drop the celibacy requirement, but he's a hypocrite holding on to his useless job while breaking his vows to god. I'll bet he preaches to the congregation about obedience and doles out penances in confession to people who break "god's laws".

Hypocrites like him make me sick and any good catholic who knows about it and doesn't report him to his bishop is enabling and supporting his hypocrisy. I don't judge his sexual activity, only his blatant hypocrisy
