No. I'm in my 40s and my mother would still love to run my life - only my husband stops her.
If she has no reason to think that you are a useless mother, then she must have no life or her own - so wants to run yours.
If she is just plain nuts - change your phone number and phone the police if necessary. Least said soonest mended so don't give her the satisfaction of getting into an argument with her!
Mine is a nutcase and if I say black she will say white!!
