It's not uncommon. Most people would just use a squeegee. And I would imagine she'd ask you to dry the bath after, too, if she's that concerned about it.
It does save on cleaning for a small inconvenience. I don't bother with it, but I know it would make my life a tiny bit easier if I wasn't so lazy.
Also, one small request isn't a sign of OCD. It drives me mad when people misuse that. It's an actual disorder, not just people liking things to be neat or organised a certain way.

Well for starters, OCD is something people HAVE, not something they ARE.
So probably try and learn what it actually is before making a mental health diagnosis.
