I have seen your comments here for quite awhile and noticed you tend to assume and jump to wild conclusions about people. You should be careful with that.
What is so wild about assuming a child lives rent/board etc free? Is that not the normal thing, as in the majority or most often done?
If you are a special case, don't you think it would have been a good thing to mention it? Or did you just not care that MOST would assume you lived rent free?
Now, why state the obvious? The response did little to nothing to aid a logical answer. Also, if you tend to be the type to do as your told and not have a mind of your own, you are lucky to have made it this far in life. With that being said, "is it normal to dry the shower walls after each use?" (you failed to answer if you do or don't dry the shower walls)

I ignored the dumb ass question about OCD, because it is unanswerable. As for drying the shower walls, good reasons for doing so have already been given. I don't need to repeat them, do I?
What country are you from? Where I live parents are grooming their offspring to be responsible members of the public which includes practice for the real world, paying their way. these are hard times I don't know anyone who free loads but maybe there are, I'm not going to assume anything.
IIN my mum wants us to dry the shower after use?
