Is it normal my girlfrend is always sat cross legged in the lotus position

Is it normal that my girlfriend always likes to sit in the Lotus position (That cross legged yoga position like the buddha) its not just when we watch tv, she does it when my family is round, in restaurants, in the car and even once on a plane! she says its comfortable but surely no one else does this?

    Some people find different sitting positions more comfertable then others.
    if she is comfertable Im not sure I see a problem here.

    Normal. If I could find me a nice pillow to go on the floor, I would sit in the lotus position more frequently.

    This is a very normal position. I often sit crossed legged because my legs are short and dangle in most chairs. It's bad for the back to do that.
