That's one of the more bizarre things I've heard. I think he ultimately wants a straight relationship but I also think he has a slight sexual attraction to penis or men. This could be just part of his make-up but he may have had confusing sexual activity such as being molested when he was young. I am a male and I personally was molested when I was very young by an older figure and I remember a few years later watching Pornography with this same figure and I was more transfixed on the male. I remember saying something like, "wow, she is lucky". Around these few years, I even remember being at a family Christmas and hanging out with my cousins and blurting out, "(insert name) stuck his thing in me." Everyone just laughed and wrote me off as being a weird goofy kid.
From what I remember, the abuser told me he would kill me if I told anyone. These examples above are how something like that can stay with a person and seep out into their lives unwillingly. It's just my two cents, that while he may be joking or have no prior issues as I'm suggesting, that it sounds like it could realistically be a small cry for help. If he is single and/or hasn't been in many relationships, this could definitely compound the situation further as loneliness can add onto it.
Maybe I am way off base, but just trying to provide another perspective.
