He sounds like an interesting person. I have an imaginary s/o myself but I wouldn't call your friend normal specifically because he is lying to the world (at least the internet) about the relationship. That part concerns me, as well as possibly the reading minds bit depending on how serious he is about it.
Oh he's very serious about it. He avoids many people because he says it's exhausting to be bombarded with the thoughts of many people at once...
I never thought he'd get an imaginary girlfriend and tell people about it though.
He's probably a bit 'special' in some sense even though you wouldnt think so unless you knew him so I dont judge but I find some things like a bit concerning.
