Is it normal my cats bedtime?

Well hey i couldnt think of a name so i just put one. Anyway, when i go to bed my cat nicki has to walk the whole perimeter
of my bed before she lays down she wont walk around it unless i move the covers for her to go across i think its wierd P.S she is 7 and a female

Details-----1] she is on the bed while walking
[2] She sniffs me alot before she lays down
[3] shes a rescue
[4] we got her as a 2 y/o

Any ideas and is this normal??

    I think its normal. The walking round your bed is to check for any 'bad guys' or danger. The sniffing is because it is checking if you are ok. Emotionally and physically. And it doesnt have anything to do with age. I think anyway but im not a cat speciallist.

    shes normal give her something with your scent on it and she will lay on that.
