Is it normal my boyfriend prefers to pee in bottles vs. the toilet?

It started a couple months ago when we took a long trip to visit relatives. Upon returning we both had been holding it for hours and could like barely hold it when we got back home. I ran to the bathroom and he couldn't wait so he peed in a bottle. Now he likes it and does it regularly. It grosses me out but I'm wondering if other men do this too?

    Sounds like a very lazy person. Find someone with a little class. Mature guys do not do that.

    I only pee in a bottle only when I am really thirsty. I don't know why no one has said this yet.

    I don't know about bottles, but admit, I probably piss in my back yard or into a coffee can or something, and toss it into the rock garden outside my kitchen door more than I piss in the toilet. Not a lazy thing, more of a don't waste water by flushing a bunch of times per day. I don't do it in the dead of Winter or anything..But halfway decent weather or not freezing, yeah..

        Well it's your boyfriend not your husband so divorce wouldn't come into play.

        I think maybe YOU pee in bottles and want to make sure you're not a lazy freak.

        I think a lot of computer and gaming guys pee in bottles so you are normal.

          Peeing in the sink is about as disgusting as peeing in the shower. I.E. not at all.

          In fact, it's probably more water-conserving than peeing in a toilet, which is where we're taught we're "supposed" to pee. You can easily flush it through with a quick run of the faucet...
