Have you heard of foreplay, it makes a difference. And he should think about your feelings too and getting you off otherwise he's being selfish.

I think it varies between people although if I recall I remember it being said somewhere that the average time was less. I've never really been able to finish sex within 10 minutes so maybe where I read that is wrong.

Perhaps you should start things off without intercourse? Say for him to have oral sex with you first. :)

My advice is talk to him. Let him know you enjoy sex too and that you don't feel like the current situation is fair. During sex get him to tell you when he feels even slightly close and immediately stop so he can't finish. You can have him use his fingers or tongue on you while he "cools down" then get back to it and repeat as needed. Also, start to take some control and tell him exactly what you want him to do.
