Is it normal my bf treats me like garbage?

My bf doesn't value me at all. First, he drives a 2015 Toyota Corolla and expects me to ride around in this cheap little old car with him. Why can't he by something brand new that has some luxury? And then he will take me to restaurants that are cheap too. Some of them don't even have a valet! Also, I send him my Amazon wish list every day and he still hasn't gotten me everything on it. In fact I add items faster than he buys them! He says he can't afford it, but what else he is spending his money on that could be more important than me? I should be most important in his life and I should come first. But what really makes me mad is he tries to blame it all on me because he is paying all my bills but that's his job, he's my bf so STFU am I right?

I hate to say this, but it's partly your fault for staying with him. How did you even end up with this loser in the first place? Probably out of pity, I'm guessing. Has anyone ever told you, your kindness will be the death of you? Sometimes you have to look out for yourself instead of giving so much to everyone else!! So I think he's doomed and you should cut him loose.

If not, you've got a big job ahead of you getting him to stop being so selfish and get some perspex. You might have to take drastic measures and cheat on him. Just make sure it's with someone who looks after you better - that way, if he doesn't come to his senses and do what it takes to win you back, then you've got a plan b) guy who will hopefully be more respectful and caring and generous, and have better taste in cars etc.

Just my thoughts, don't hate on me for being real.

Either your current guy gets the rude awakening he needs to start treating you right (not to mention treating himself right, sounds like he needs some self respect -'15 corolla?? amirite?) Or also you end up with a better a deal on your trade-in.
