I drink a lot, always to the point where I’m completely shitfaced. My bf would scoop me off the couch and put me in bed and that would be my last memory of most nights. I’d always wake up naked and I can just tell that we had sex at some point during the night but I can never remember it.

I don’t know if I just blacked out and can’t remember or if he’s having sex with me while I’m sleeping. He has told me in the past that he had a bit of a fetish for that kind of thing but I really don’t know for sure. I’m honestly not that bothered by it because he’s my bf and I don’t really remember anything so it’s like it never happened. But is it weird ? Like is that a common thing ?

    No if you weren't able to give consent then that is rape. No sane man would do such a thing, if that is a fetish he has you can play such a scenario out in a healthy way with consent. It's kind of a warning sign that you can't trust what he does to you while you're asleep. He does not have boundries.

      Yeah what ellnell said is right. Like first off just because he said to you he had a fetish for it doesn’t mean you gave your approval for it. That’s just him letting you know what he likes. And ok so you say you are ok with it, but that doesn’t mean it’s ok for him to do it without you consenting. Did he ever ask you for permission or your opinion?

      Think of it this way.

      Think about how much different you would you feel if you actually did mind because you didn’t want nor consent to it. Wouldn’t you feel violated and... what was that word? Oh, yeah, RAPED.

      And a decent person who respects their partner would let them know what they want to do and ask for consent and respect their partner’s answer. Not do what they want without knowing for sure if you are ok with it.

      Sweetheart. Even if you’re ok with it. Have respect for yourself to not let someone treat you like that.

    Theres a fetish called sleep molestation so it is a thing, However doing that with no consent is the same as rape.
    if he is doing that and never asked for your consent then he should be in jail, because he raped you.

    I agree it could be considered rape or maybe just wierd, however, everyone seems to be missing the point where you said your not sure whether you blacked out after and just can't remember or he's doing it after you pass out it sounds like you have an alcohol problem. He sounds like although he takes advantage of it he is at least taking care of you. Maybe he should just leave you passed out where anyone can do what they want with you. You need to take care of yourself first.

    Sounds really weird to me.

    I personally wouldn't care if my husband did sexual stuff to me when I was passed out, but I did tell him this once as a bit of a joke and he said "no thanks, that sounds creepy as fuck".

    Your boyfriend is being creepy. Even if it doesn't bother you if someone touched you when you were passed out, does it not bother you a bit that he has the motivation to do so, and especially to do so and then not even tell you about it when you wake up? It seems quite predatory to me. I would be worried.

    That's a weird fetish, that he REALLY should've told you about before banging you in your sleep. Necrophiles are known to have sex with sleeping people as a sort of "closest thing".

    Nope. He is having sex with you without consent, thats rape. I guess you said your fine with it, but I would urge you to have a word with him. this aint normal, and god knowd what hes doing while your sleeping.
