Is it normal my back is broken? spinal?

So it's my first day off I've had in months. Here I am laying in bed with a broke back, and I'm not even talking about my butthole. My wife is in the other room playing with the baby and here I am on my day off in the bed. She's getting mad because my back (vertebrae) is fractured and I don't want to run around town all day on my day off. What can I do to improve my situation?

I'm not sure what you mean? That a fractured vertebrae is normal, that you're in bed resting because of it or your wife's response?

If you do in fact have a fractured vertebrae (in which case I would think you'd need more than just your day off) and your wife expects you to act as if it doesn't exist, that's just ridiculous.

What you can do is seek proper medical attention to try and fix your back, whether its therapy or surgery, get treatment. If it requires you to be out of work for a while, have your wife work. A broken spine isn't something to take lightly. Worst case scenario, you wind up paralyzed from the waist down.

I’m not gonna lie, I thought this was a post about Mike Tyson when he said in a post fight interview “I broke my back. My back is broken... spinal” lol
