I'm in my twenties, I've never met my auntie and she refuses to meet me.
I never knew why but my grandma just told me that it's because my dad sexually assaulted her for years when they were young.
I completely understand she wants absolutely nothing to do with him but I don't want to go through life never meeting my auntie because of something he did.
is it normal she doesn't want to know me IDK

    Not exactly normal but she's dealing with things as she wants to. she also may have been victimized by your dad in other ways, finances, accusations, lies, frustrations and she might want nothing to do with you because you might bring him. so if you do write her tell her we can go meet somewhere nearby I won't even tell dad I met you, I just think this is something I need to try. a few other nice things.

      I actually look more like her than the rest of my family, but she's never even seen me
