I just googled "men's shelters", and found a few in several places in the US, as well as in other countries.
Ah, cool. Could you send me the link to them please?
I also searched. Most listed on Google as men's shelters are actually for both men and women, but there were a couple men exclusive.
I found this from the uk dating from 2003 http://www.theguardian.com/society/2003/dec/21/socialcare.uknews
and this one http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-jersey-12494071
they exist, but you can count the number on one hand.
They're battered shelters, not homeless ones, though. :/
I found this from New York http://portal.hud.gov/hudportal/HUD?src=/states/new_york/homeless/menshelters
Anyway, there are several men's shelters across the US, for example some in New York, Charlotte and Grand Rapids. All of these can easily be found via Google.
There are men's shelters in several cities in the US.
I found this list of men's shelters in NYC http://portal.hud.gov/hudportal/HUD?src=/states/new_york/homeless/menshelters
There's also a men's shelter in Charlotte http://www.mensshelterofcharlotte.org/
And there are some in other cities across the US.
I included some links in my post yesterday but they got deleted.
