Is it normal masturbate to inanimate objects

I feel wrong masturbating to porn, facebook pictures, etc. because I was raised catholic, I started masturbating to other objects such as a cool picture of a corvette, or my favorite rock song. I feel awkward when I finish but it makes me feel "in the moment" am i wrong for what I do?
