Is it normal it was so small i couldn't get off?

So my car is at the dealership getting fixed and I was driving my roomates "smart" car and no one gives me the right of way! I couldn't get off the highway at my exit because no one would let me over! I had my turn signal on and window down (they're tinted) so I could make eye contact and wave at the other drivers to let me in but no one did! I had to get off at the next exit and turn around...This has never happened to me in my SUV. Do people normally just disrespect tiny cars like this? My driving is the same but everyone just wants to run me off the road or not let me merge over. My roommate has never driven it on the highway so she doesn't know. Is this normal?

      Too work which is only 5 miles away but it's faster to take the interstate.

    I drive a tiny car. It takes a different skill set to move thru traffic effortlessly.

        I never would have been blocked. I could squeeze my tiny car in behind anybody in a way that cause the other cars to move out of my way.

    Cars like this are a danger to everyone on the road. They have zero power and should only be used to go to a local store.

    Give it away to some hippy, or torch it and buy a truck.

      Yeah I hate it, I only drove it on the highway cause it was rush hour and traffic doesn't get above 25 mph. I would never road trip in it lol.
