they were barely exposed to a specific race/culture?

Example let's say you are prejudiced towards blacks because you grew up in a majority lower class black area (for you non Americans and sheltered white Americans this means the black people will gang up on you and harass you for being white, take my word for it). Then these white folks from say Europe or some shit will call you racist for being wary, when theyve only ever known like 2 black people in their whole life. is it normal

    I don't know if this is an accurate assessment tbh

    I've grown up around black people (not exclusively, it's a very diverse area) so I know better than to judge and assume they're all hood thugs. In contrast, I think a lot of the most racist white people are the ones who are sheltered and don't know black people, because they hear the stereotypes without actually knowing.
