It's hard to put your finger on what the problem is here. There's loads of amazing users, who do give amazing advice, and make like these great witty insightful comments at times, but so many users like that get so burned out on the site that they rarely even do that anymore. And a lot of said users just don't make posts, so it's rare to see a really nice, or fun, or thought provoking post, and when you do, it gets buried so fast by spam that it's gone within 2 hours.
So you get left with a lot of posts that are repetitive and just stupid and spammy wanking shit, and the people that would offer great stuff just get despondent and sarcastic, and all your left with is slews of comments by new users and people that will use any forum they can to go all soap-boxy...
There's people here with great input to offer, but nobody bothers to do it consistently...it might be the way the website is set up, the quality of the posts, the moderation...who knows? But yeah, I agree. I just take breaks from the site...so I don't get too bored with it.
