Is it normal im having so many problems giving up coffee and soda

So I drink a lot of soda. It was always in my house as a kid. As an adult started drinking a lot of coffee. Now I am trying to stop but realized it leaves me with severe hunger pains. This leaves me to switch to something else high in sugar like donuts. Im dying of hunger even when I eat! What do I do? I ended up going back to coffee becuase I cant stand the hunger anymore

  • Go for a high protein diet with lots of fruit and veggies. Protein takes a lot longer to breat down than sugar. Sugar is extremely harmful as it creates sugar spikes that don't last long and all that excess glucose gets stored as fat. Also excess glucose is cancer food. You're leaving yourself wide open for cancer to gain a toe hold in your body.

  • Oh for goodness sake, don't you know anything about nutrition? If you're hungry eat something healthy and it's not your body making you switch from coffee to donuts, that's your decision to eat rubbish.

    Surely you've noticed that sweet food like donuts does make you hungry again in a short time? That's because there's no lasting nutrition in it.

      • You're not making sense: if drinking lots of coffee and eating lots of sugary foods leaves you "always hungry" with actual hunger pain, then what you're doing now isn't helping, is it?

        I think you should see a doctor to check out possible causes of what you're interpreting as hunger pains: you could have an ulcer or some other treatable condition.

        Have you actually tried a healthy diet with minimum coffee and sugar even for a couple of days to see if it helps?
