IIN if I stop doing things when they become trendy?

  • If you do it the same way you always have, the "original" people will notice. There's a difference between wearing something for the trend and wearing what feels...like you. As well, you can wear an Atlanta Braves hat, for example, but trendy people might make it a flat bill or excessively try to keep it clean whereas if it's you, you would probably wear it with a curved Bill or maybe backwards and even if it was a little dirty because you like the hat and team. It's those little intricacies that real people see, assuming you want to be seen for genuineness. I can relate, though. I absolutely hate if I ever see someone with the same shirt as me, which is about 1% of the time. I'm just very careful in buying only what I know others aren't wearing and which feels like me without trying too hard to stick out. I buy simple, unique, plaid or collared shirts from thrift stores typically. Saves a lot of money, as well. Can't really tell what kind of trends you're referring to or your age, but if this happens that often to you, then maybe you still haven't hit your stride and found your zone
