Is it normal if i smile a lot when i watch tv?
When I watch anime, movies, tv series and cartoons, I always find myself smiling to the point my jaw hurts. My brother always tells me that I look creepy when I watch TV.

Yeah I always smile and laugh and make comments to myself while watching tv. I can't watch tv with my family cos they constantly have zero expression on their faces while watching, even if it's the most epic or heart-wrenching scene they've ever seen, which I think is just weird. And I feel self-conscious about how I look then.

I have exactly the same problem, I find it weird how they can watch TV and films with poker faces as though it’s a mediocre university lecture.
If I filmed myself watching an intense film it would show the entire spectrum of emotion complete with me muttering “No, you idiot” at least once.
Apparently in some parts of India it’s normal to get up and dance in the cinema if it’s a musical.

My current gf has that complete stoneface when watching movies or series. She claims it is because she's "focusing", but afterwards she does't even speak about the thing we just watched, as if it never happened. it's like we never watched them. It really makes me think that she's stupid and it's a reason why I need to break up with her sooner or later

I find it so bizzaree and embarrassing when people are self aware to this degree and actually write posts about it. It's like i'm laughing while watching my favorite tv show and then I go on the internet "hi guys I laugh while I watch my favorite tv show is this normal". What are you, a robot who learned a new expression!
