I think that term was used in the 1960's and 70's but somehow fell out of usage.
What afro American?
Yes.
I didn't know that I thought people still called blacks negros(black) but I see why most blacks don't like being called negro.
Why? Because it's crazy how some English people are obsessed with a Spanish word. And how it sounds is to close to the other word.
But I guess I learned something new today.
IIN I wonder why black people in the US are called African-Americans?
