Is it normal i wish i was a guy so it'd be easier to get a gf?

Well I think I've come to the conclusion I'm lesbian simply because I love the feel of putting my hands on a females waist, I develop a strong emotional connection easier and I used to LOVE hugging my friend.
Problem is all my friends go for dick head guys and so I figure they're not even bi.
Never had a girl crush on me either unfortunately.
This really disappoints me because I feel I have no hope as majority are straight.
Idk what to do or how to find someone? Tried dating sites but don't work.
I notice a lot of posts on here in the past where even straight girls end up falling for their best friend so it seems to happen to everyone else except me..is it normal and tips please?
No I'm not out to my friends, just my mum and couple mates know I'm open..

Sometimes I think that too, I'm pansexual leaning towards women more. I always thought it would be easier if I was a guy so that my straight school crush (at the time) would like me. Then, I realized I wouldn't have any of the wonderful friends I have.

You said you haven't come out to your friends yet, any reason why?
Coming out is one of the big steps to finding a romantic partner or people who will support you.

I don't think there's really a way to tell if someone is homosexual or not, people don't always adorn to stereotypes.

If you want to meet lesbians, pansexuals, or bisexuals:

    Attend LGBT events

Is possibly the best way to meet.

You said online dating didn't work out?
    Which sites did you use?
Here's some suggestions, limited to less popular dating sites.

Compatible Partners is a LGBT-onlyonline dating site for people who are looking for serious relationships.
    https://m.compatiblepartners.net

    Brenda is a lesbian/bi/curious only app/site.
    http://www.benderapp.com/brenda.html

I was in a relationship with someone I had met on a non-dating forum, sometimes waiting is the answer.

    • Thankyou for this elaborate comment ! Well I'm not out to everyone because I've never been given the chance to slip in "Hey I'm gay by the way" lol Its just a rather out there and odd thing to state especially if you aren't along the lines of sexuality or dating ect...
I have tried Zoosk, okcupid, Tagged, Tinder & POF , so basically most popular ones.
I'm too afraid to go to LGBT events by myself and thankyou for the links :)

My favorite story of someone coming out is by a guy named Max Kruemcke. Both him and his brother came out to their parents separately. They took their mom to a Cheesecake Factory and opened with a joke. Then, they took their dad out to a restaurant.

        Here's the story

"So, he [his brother] ended up, 'hey dad, we got some news.' And our dad said, 'who's the lucky boy?' Then my brother went 'we're gay!' And he said, 'two lucky boys!'" Then they all laugh and as it quiets down he asks his father what he thinks about that. His dad confused questions his son.

"My mom had to lean over and be like 'they're not joking.'' - Max

In the end both of his parents accepted it, even if the way they came out was a little awkward.

Here are some helpful tips on coming out. Don't feel pressured to immediately come out if you do not want to, okay? :)

      • Why are you calling him a retard when I believe he's correct?
Far more females in general are fluid with their sexuality more so than guys most the time

Hes labeling the entire female race as homo sexual , imagine that being the case holy shit

          • No he's not.
He didn't say the ENTIRE female race is homosexual.

Quote "Every girl is a bit lesbian".
            Key word here "bit"

This means in general girls are more open and fluid with their sexuality.

And with the way men go on, I wouldn't be surprised if the whole female race were to become gay. Would be a dam good thing if u ask me

    • yeah I mean I figure that because I feel in general, girls are more fluid with their sexuality. However, I am not sure how to figure out who's bi and who is actually Interested

Trust me, it's more difficult for us guys. On one hand we are told to do the approaching but otoh approaching and flirting is considered offensive so we live between a rock and a hard place.

Everyone else you know is straight and you're not. They're straight so you don't realistically have a chance with any of them. Yeah, there are occasions when a previously straight woman falls for a woman.... but it's very much an exception rather than the rule.

You should start hanging out with women who are out as lesbians rather than exclusively hanging out with straight women. Maybe start going to lgbt events or groups. You'll find someone. You're just not looking in the right places.

    • ah okay yeah this makes sense, though I wish I were the exception to a straight female for a change.

just because you develop a strong emotional feeling doesnt mean your homosexual , unless you wanna fuck those girls

also , have you ever had sex with a guy ?

    Comment Hidden ( show )
  • Go to bars and clubs were LGBT people meet and don't be afraid to flirt. The girl for you will come along.

The day will come, trust me. Be cool and be patient just like if you were after a guy and you may find it comes at you almost out of nowhere.
