Well heroin is just a strong opiate if you get a pure source it wouldn't be that bad for you. The problem becomes that getting it illegally will lead to impurities.
I think that if you sit down and think about it, you will realize that this really a very boring thing. It will make you feel great but that is it. There is no wisdom to be discovered, no personal hurdle that is being overcome. It is just a syringe and a belt, nothing more. On its own it is neither particularly negative or positive. Without the media spin it is just a rather plain thing. If you want my advice get into long distance running, the endorphin rush can feel pretty similar and you will actually be doing something positive with your life.
