Is it normal i want to take hallucinogens

Ha. Who the fuck tells their family they want to take hallucinogens? "Hey, ma! I wanna drop some acid!" Anyway, it's not something I'd take lightly. Some people's brains are predisposed to bad reactions with psychedelics. It could lead to permanent trips or psychosis. I've done acid and shrooms a few times and I gotta say it's an amazing experience at the time but not something I'd care to do again. I was younger and into the whole expansion of consciousness shit. With the risks involved I'd probably just leave it alone if I were you.

My question is have you tried marijuana? If you haven't highly suggested first.

Honestly, It depends what you plan on taking. firstly, don't be an idiot about it. if you're going to plunge into the world of Psychedelic drugs don't start off with something you can't handle, know your source and know your dose. secondly, no matter what you can handle in real life, when it comes to psychedelics, if you don't have experience, it is very easy to throw yourself into a trip you can't handle. thirdly, although you must take it seriously, don't take it TOO seriously, remember, its just a trip.

Be careful, psychedelics are very different from what most people expect. They can fuck you up if you aren't ready. Do some research if you're really interested, I'd recommend starting with erowid.org, best drug info site I know of. No matter what, be safe and don't be a statistic.

Just make sure you have a friend there that isn't an asshole to tell you if what you're seeing is really there or not.

Why on earth would you tell them?! Of course, they didn't accept it, of course. There's so much stigma towards hallucinogens or any other drug for that matter.
