I know people cut themselves because of depression and other issues, but I just want to do it once to see how it is. After that, I won't do it again. I also won't do it on my arm because I don't want people asking about it.
It's never just once.

I was in a similar position as yours. It's your life and your body, but please don't start. It doesn't help, not for any meaningful amount of time. It's so hard to stop, and there are a lot of downsides to having those scars on your body.
It's a sign of serious mental illness. The guy who shot up the school is a cutter.
It's not fun... Hurts like shit; papercuts are a good approximation. Although, i suggest using a sharp knife if you don't want scars. And don't do it on the wrists; try one of the pinkies with very little pressure.
Don't do it. Ive one it since I was 11 and it gets very addicting. You may not be able to stop after one cut. But if you must do it, do it when youre feeling completely fine. Doing it when youre not okay is setting yourself up to be addicted.
its fine. i also did it once a few years ago. just for the curiosity. the cut kinda disappears too. :)
I’ve done it. You don’t have to cut deep like I did tho. Also make sure you have a legit excuse for it if someone sees the healing wound
It just feels like pain. Not sure why you would be curious. It just hurts is all.

You dont have to do anything just imagine it as a paper cut because thats what its like but it does hurt more when you do it to yourself on purpose. Doing it on purpose it very stupid.
Once you start, you think its okay to do it again and then once you get carried away its an addiction, then theres scars that you cannot get rid of and then people will start judging.
Not worth it. My entire left arm is cut up from when I self-harmed and the scars are just embarrassing to look at.
