I won't pretend to be a chemist. Yet history would prove you wrong, the weathermen group and that grateful dead roadie were not known to have lab setups yet were able to make it in the sixties. In the modern era I'd imagine precursor chemicals are available online, it's the ergot alkaloids I believe so they probably just order migraine medication from offshore chemists. I believe I read about a raid of clandestine lab in England that did not have any amazing setup was just a run down house with a lot of stolen lab equipment.

It's just a drug there is nothing in any drug that was not already in the mind before you took it. Drugs are just chemical. Yes I will admit to taking LSD in the past, the rainbows and colors are pretty cool but it just isn't what you are making it. All that emotion isn't contained in some chemical molecule it is you that is giving acid that power. While tripping on acid isn't any worse than marijuana in my opinion this is all time you could have been spending doing something positive with your life.
Rainbows and colors? That doesn't sound anything like my acid trip, except maybe the first 2 hours. The rest was much, much deeper than rainbows and colors. You didn't trip. You just kinda got intoxicated. You'd know if you were tripping.
And I know it's possible to trip naturally, acid is just a quick short cut to achieving an experience meditation can give you.
Yikes, I don't think it's really your place to rate someone else's subjective experience as "tripping" or not.

Intense color distortion is one of the most noticeable effects of LSD if you didn't see the rainbow patterns and the purple roads then you probably took DOB or anther psychedelic amphetamine on blotter. Was the paper bitter at all?
But it doesn't matter I prefer dissociatives anyway. They just seem so much stronger.
Ever candy flipped though? That makes acid pretty fun...

I don't think you took enough acid to peak. I definitely experienced what you are explaining. But there is so much more that happens after the hallucinations kick in. I reach a point where my brain is analyzing and understanding everything to such an extent, that all I wanna do is throw on the breaks. I acknowledge that everything is data and i am processing it. I realize my life could just consist of me following a trail of data, and death is just the data trial ending, or the computer coming to a solution.
There are other theories to life that I analyze and weigh while tripping, but it would take too long to try and explain haha. All of these gears hit after the hallucinations set in, the hallucinations are a very mild part of an acid trip for me.
You just trip differently from one another. SuperBenzid tends to experience very intensely visual trips while you get more of a "mindfuck" experience. It's an incredibly variable drug with no universal response at all
Pick up a copy of the psychedelic cookbook and get back to me on the home brewing of LSD 25. I knew all the GD roadies in the 60's and they, as well as everyone else, got their LSD 25 mainly from Owsley (some did come from UC Berkley); we didn't have to make it. Owsley most definitely had a lab, but it was legal to make and take back then, which is why he gave it away at acid tests and the like.
There are variants of LSD, not 25 that can be whipped up in a couple of hours, but it just isn't so with 25.
IIN I want everyone in existence to trip on LSD at once?
