I invest a lot in my relationships when most of the time they don't last. I do everything to make my partners happy but they cheat or dump me for someone more attractive. I kind of just want someone I can make out with occasionally who I dont have to invest all this wasted effort and time into.

my record with guys is awful. I just seem to always pick the one who turns out to be a total douche bag. I kinda gave up a few years ago. I have a long time friend who is 11 years older than I am but he takes care of my needs whenever I need him too.
I would take a break from dating if I were you, and try to work on my own issues. Maybe you have a trauma bond to past abusers that causes you to attract, and be attracted to the same type of people who once abused, or neglected you?
You gotta keep sex casual. Even in a relationship you still gotta go to an orgy on acid once in a while. I'm not really good at maintaining relationships though.

Then take a break, focus on studies and job work. Cause then you will look attractive to real catches... unless you are a female then the pool gets pretty small when you make lots of money.
