I am 22 & I feel the same way, I just want someone who is sweet... someone to hang out with and talk to about everything, watch horror movies and be cute but NO SEX because I'd like to hold on to my virginity and save it for something that I feel will last, preferably marriage but these days it's like unheard of to want to keep your virginity intact and sex has become a prerequisite for a "real" relationship and that sucks

You're asking is it normal to want a boyfriend, but the real question you should be asking yourself is what you can do to get a boyfriend. Why not go out to a few places and talk to some guys? If you're too shy to do that, then try joining a dating website.
