Is it normal i want a basement where i can screen monster movies?

So I’m a big fan of James Rolfe, Who Reviews movies online. He had a series (I don’t think he does it anymore) on his YouTube channel Cinemassacre called “Cinemassacre’s Monster Madness” in which he reviewed a horror movie every day in October. This series really got me interested in horror, especially in classic horror films (think Dracula, Frankenstein, The Wolf Man, etc.)

Now sadly I don’t have a basement anymore since I moved, but I used to love spending time in my basement at my old house. I think it would be a lot of fun to watch these old horror films in the dark in a spooky atmosphere in a basement. Maybe even set up Halloween decorations in it. Give it a spooky feel to it.

Why restrict yourself to horror movies? Lots of stuff you can watch and do in a well-decorated basement.

True, but I like the idea of spooky activities in the dark

  • That sounds cool. Is there anywhere in your new place you could make some sort of secret room? Decorate it accordingly and put a large bookcase or shelf where the door would go. 10x more badass than a basement.

I’d love to have a revolving shelf like Batman!

Unfortunately my place doesn’t give me that capability

And who would vote "not normal" to wanting to watch movies in the basement?
