You said you may have a near death experience and find it ordinary. This sounds to me like the kind of apathy a depressed individual may feel. Chronic depression tends to be predominantly apathic and less severe in intensity, without the more well-known crises of anguish that are characteristic of major depressive disorder. Though, of course, this is just one possibility.
