Is it normal i treat internet comments as more important than what they are?
I give way too much weight to internet comments. If I read a comment that angers or upsets me, I will think about it all the time. I become kind of paranoid, thinking nearly everyone I come in contact with has seen it and upvoted it. Or that it's a widely held opinion that most people agree with, even if it's blatantly wrong. I think somehow this is going to affect me and the world. I know it won't but I can't shake the feeling.
I sometimes do this with stuff I've heard offline too. Even if it's just one random person I'll never see again.
