Is it normal i think the usa has becme a propaganda machine?

I've come to feel that all mainstream media(CNN, Fox),talk radio, and the federal government is all propaganda. I believe the "left" and "right" are secretly working together to push agendas that will radically change the country. Does anyone feel this way? I really think the USA could seriously compete with the 1980s USSR when it comes to propaganda. If you're wondering about my political views, I'm a conservative libertarian but refuse to vote because I think they're all corrupt.

Its all bullshit. I don't know about any grand agenda tho. Basically the world is shit and they do whatever the hell they want to anyway so they really don't need to convince us peons.

Ha. The U.S. has always been about propaganda. We still teach Thomas Edison invented the light bulb and the motion picture camera. We still teach that the Pilgrims were these great people. And the historical omissions, it boggles the mind.

Yep, tv shows, movies, commercials, youtube videos, comments and posts on IIN, everything everywhere has become infected with propaganda. Liberalism has owned reality for decades now, but conservative propaganda has been growing rapidly the past 10 years.

Lately, most first world governments have been deadlocked. Look to countries that can attract the brightest business leaders if you want to see progress.

Most of the media is controlled by political affiliates, only a small portion of it is actually independent.
