Is it normal i think smoking ruined my family's genetics?

I am a descendent from 4 generations of heavy smokers. I know from my grandmother that her grandmother (my great-great) was a heavy smoker.

Anyways my great-grandmother was a heavy smoker and live to 93 with little health issues. Her two children now have Alzheimers which started at 67, 71 respectively. Alzheimers isn't known to run in my family, granted the 2 of them never took care of their health, but I don't understand how their mother lived to be 93 and with no memory issues, and she was overweight (unlike her children).

My mom has an auto-immune disorder that isn't genetic, she smokes a pack a day as well. My mom confessed to smoking while pregnant and my sister was premature and has Asthma, and I'm usually short, Autistic, and have hypotonia. None of our issues are genetic, so I can theorize our devolution is from our parents smoking. Afterall the chemicals in tobacco can alter your DNA. With this knowledge, I won't have children and will never touch a cigarette.

What type of autoimmune disease do you suffer from? and I think not touching a cigarette is a great choice

I don't know about this one. I read that doctors in the 50's used to tell pregnant women who were a little nervous to take up smoking. But these days it's best not to smoke while pregnant or better yet not to smoke at all. I smoke very little maybe 2-3 cigs a say. There are a lot of chemicals in cigs but there are also a lot of junk in processed food then you got EMI from all the electronics around us and most of the time the babies are okay but there is more autism and allergies and asthma these days. I don't know if it is all related or not.

Where's your evidence harm from smoking can be passed on genetically? Certainly exposure to other people's smoking can cause harm.

I have like ten auto immune disorders. None of my family smokes or does drugs.
