Is it normal i think reddit gives off "bad vibes?"

I don't know exactly what it is, but to me, the site Reddit gives off "bad vibes" or a bad aura or something. I never browse it freely, but I do find myself on it maybe a few times a month because I Google searched something and there aren't many results except for a Reddit discussion on it.

I'm not sure if it's the site layout, like the colors or font style or what. It could be the attitude of its users... I find them to be negative, pretentious and aggressive. I don't like the down vote system either. Overall the whole site comes off as gross/scummy/uncomfortable to me.

In contrast, the is it normal site has good vibes, in my opinion, and I browse it frequently.

    My issue with that site is that it's shockingly hive-minded. I swear, 99% of the membership have the exact same views (liberal/atheist/nihilist), and dissension is not tolerated. It's scary.

    I agree, being on Reddit for even a minute makes me feel like I'm in a part of the internet that I shouldn't be. As if it belongs in the Deep Web or something.

      it's not that bad, I wonder what subs you guys are using, from my experience it just seems like a lot of the users are autistic or SJW's
